ABOUT
Eline Klein (1959) graduated from Academy of Photography and Audio-visual Communication in the Netherlands in 1986.
After graduation she worked as a fashion and portrait photographer and travelled the world for many magazines and a variety of commercial clients. Eline Klein has been classically trained in her chosen profession. With the advent of digital photography she too made the switch from analogue to digital, albeit with a heavy heart. However, her background ensured that she approached digital photography as close as was possible to the more traditional, analogue corner, keeping post-processing mainly to the kinds of changes that were also made in the darkroom. It gives her work an analogue feel, complete with the associated imperfections that are sometimes evident in her work. After working for many years with a large team, she felt the need to start working on her own projects and shift her focus completely to free (artistic) photography.
